I think the example of a DJ is a great... they are
traditionally NON musicians, but have incredible skill... I was more talking
about BAD musicians.. as in a guitarist who doesn't know the names of chords,
or can only really play in A and E, certainly cant play fast and certainly
doesn't play chords with numbers in them (6ths and 7ths) with looping and /or
effects they can be truly wonderful. I just remember the time I saw Joy
Division, Jesus and Mary Chain, Kraftwerk... none were particularly dextrous
in the fingering department.
