Thank you for good advice, Tim, Bill and Ed. The vibrations that
resonates with the pickup are coming through the wood of the
instrument, so maybe I'll have to look into some odd solution for
this. I play this tele with the Sustianiac-C vibrator clamper at the
head of the head. It would probably help to minimize the mechanical
resonance between pickup and body, so I'm thinking that I should find
out a way to mount the pickup with some loose, non resonant, material.
How does that idea resonate with your guys?

I may look into doing the conductive copper tape trick as well. My
brother treated his -63 Telecaster that way and it helped a lot to
reduce hum induced by electro magnetic fields in the environment.
