Practicing Looping in the Dark

While we are at it, here is a suggestion + invitation for feedback:

Recently, I have occasionally started practicing looping in a pitch dark 
room and found the experience VERY useful.
Being able to sense the knobs/settings by heart and do the right moves 
without any visual feedback (except LEDs) has been a really good training.

I haven't really needed these skills yet in a live situation, but I think 
it can give you more confidence, not getting irritated by insufficient 
lighting etc.

Do you also have any experience on this?
