If you know just where to listen on "Silent Way," you can hear somebody 
drop what sounds like a trumpet harmon mute. When the section is 
recapitulated later, you get to hear it again, suggesting that there was 
some cutting and pasting (actually, slicing and taping) going on in that 
album too.
