Re: HOW MANY LOOPS DO YOU USE SIMLUTANEOUSLY?

The question always says more about the person than the answer <SMILE>.

And it's a good one, Rick.

There are days when I think that 16 loops/tracks would not be anywhere
NEAR enough. But then, I probably really do take a different approach
than most, as I see a loop as an instrument or voice to be used.

Do I regularly use that many loops in live performance? Hard to say,
because my hardware setup won't allow that kind of direct
proliferation. In studio practice, I certainly use that many voices
and more.

The point about timbral masking is a very good one, and in live
practice can be a very tricky one to address.

As an artist, isn't it all about coming up with solutions to solve a
problem (however prosaic that may sound!)?

Best,

Dennis
