Anti-inflammatoires reuce bruising ,and excess blood trapped in the damaged tissues and thereby support faster recovery. You can use Arnica,an herb which is highly effective not so hard on the liver,topically or internally. Chinese liniment Zheng Gu SHui is helpful.
