recent listenings and trouble recording last night

recently received and have been listening to:
hartung &killian-mojo at the dojo
floratone cd (w/ b. frisell)
Eivind Aarset   (light extracts & connected)

just have cursory 1st listens in on all the above, but what i've heard has been good.

funny thing, last night i was experimenting some more w/ new loop recording setup using the behringer mixer-and was doing another guitar loop test, and something wasn't sounding right-saw a loose cable, plugged it in....another test, still wasn't sounding right. so then i start checking and see that i had plugged the boss dd20 out to the wrong place-i had it going to the 2nd in....

so lesson of the day-things sound better if you have them properly plugged in-ug!
