ableton live/Trigger finger setup

Hi Guys

I am a newbie to the list and to looping. I am a percussionist and am
interested in exploring looping more intricately. I have bought
Ableton live 6 and a trigger finger controller for controlling my
loops and other ableton functions

At the moment I am stuck with a basic trigger finger problem. I am
unable to get a midi signal to come from my trigger finger into
ableton live. (pretty important thing that) My other keyboard
controllers work fine but the enigma software that is meant to used to
programme the trigger finger is not uploading/recieving any data.
These functions seem to be disabled. I am really battling to get
anything out of it.

If any of you guys are using a similar setup and have an idea of what
the problem could be, I would appreciate your help.

As a side note, I am writing my honours thesis on using live looping
in performance for the drummer/percussionist. The music I have
discovered from the loopers delight websigh,t and many of you on this
list has inspired this project. So...Thanx for the great music.
