Re: Recomendations for hardware looper

Thanks to all who responded.
That gives me a clear idea.
What about a looper that can only do 2 loops at a time but can send them through 2 separate outputs? Is there such a thing?
I don't care if it's a bit lofi.
Any suggestions would be greatly welcomed.

I finally ordered my 2880 w/ footswitch, I am not sure about using a midi ft contoller but I do have the software upgrade also so I'll find out. It doesn't have 4 seperate outputs but can record 4 seperate tracks (all the same length) and then mix them to a stereo mixdown track freeing up 1 - 4 again.  check this out for more info. http://www.ehx.com/instructions/2880_INSTRUCTIONS.pdf
408$ for the 2880 and 111$ for the footpedal at MF. Don't tell me about a cheaper place to buy it now, I don't want to know....lol
happy Looping,
Jeff

electroharmonix 2880.. but you would need its footpedal or i think now it's posible, with the new firmware update, to use any midi controller... let's say gordius, fcb1010, etc... not a cheap setup though.

raul.

Hi,

I've been on the list for a few months now.
I have mostly been working on looping with Live. But hearing all the talk about pedal loopers has made me want one as well for a few experiments.
What I'm thinking of would require a looper device that can hold 4 distinct separate loops and can send them out from 4 separate outputs (for the purpose of mixing them well later).
Can any of you let me know what hardware devices would fill those requirements (preferably towards the lower end of the price range).
Thanks!
