The artists are paid pretty well according to that document.

FWIW, I don't think the lawsuits were about getting paid, I think they were/are about controlling the material itself.  But I'm not certain so take that as you will.

None of the artists get paid for this. Wolfgang's Vault are being sued by
artists that include Bob Weir, Jimmy Page, Bruce Springsteen and many
others.
