Augustas Loop Question

I am currently using Sooperlooper (Mac) as my software looper, but I continue to get clicks and pops. This is not a CPU issue. I dowloaded the Augustus Looper and it seems to sound very good with no pops.

The controls are confusing, but does anybody use Aug Loop as a live looper? How is its control layout? Can you overdub? Does it resemble the EDP paradigm at all?
