i do. but short sets. 2 x 20 min is a fine length for a single flute, i'd 
say.

steve lacey (soprano saxophone) did solo gigs for years, playing mostly 
monk 
tunes.

on the flute:
before i discovered looping, circular breathing and singing while playing 
fast arpeggios helped me to overcome
the one flute - one sound - problem.
looping definitely made everything a lot easier.
hey: i can click some vocal groove, lay down a bassline on the 
contrabassflute and have a solo
on the regular flute! the nearest i can get to magic with electronic 
devices.
