Find a digitech RP2000.  It's got S/PDIF out.  I'm not sure how cheap
they are these days.

Check some of the other Digitech multifx.  I think the GNX series has
s/pdif too.  but I'm not positive.  Unfortunately, they aren't cheap.
But they are kinda cool. :)
