New interesting Apogee audio interface for Mac

Apogee has a reputation of providing the best AD converters, but they  
have been quite expensive. Until now, when they release  this "Duet"  
model. But still I would not buy one without testing, since the  
instrument input impedance is not specified in a more accurate term  
then "high". When playing through software it is crucial to adjust  
the input level accurately, and with electric guitar there seems to  
be no manufacturer norm.
