Heh heh...that's right. :)  Would you recommend a 4 point font inside the object box?  In all seriousness, however,  you could do this. One could run a MIDI controller that sends only program changes into MAX, convert there, and then send back out to the EDP...and have the patch take a coffee break while it's at it.

just run the tiniest of Max/MSP patches...  and if someone doesn't have Max, we could make a little runtime patch for them.
