How to reduce the DAILY DIGEST to one post a day

It has been repeatedly posted that the Daily Digest becomes more than once
a day because posters continually disregard the request to quit hitting
REPLY when they answer a post.   Ignoring these requests adds volumes to 
the 
amount
of print we all have to wade through on this list every day.     It has 
resulted in many, many
really wonderful musicians leaving the list.

In the long run, it's really insensitive for people to continually 
disregard 
this request
but people continue to do no matter how much people complain.

I'd like to suggest that the next time we see some one post an reply to 
someone
quoting every post that has occurred in the particular thread that
EVERYONE who is bothered by it all send this person an offlist reply 
message 
that says

"PLEASE EDIT YOUR POSTS TO LOOPERS DELIGHT!"

in the subject line

and

"You are driving people from our list and gumming up our daily digest.
With respect............................."

in the message body.


Maybe if people are inundated the way they are inundating us,   they will 
rethink their narcissistic postings.
