Simple EDP question

Hello,
I used to have a Boomerang and I could start and restart a loop easily 
with one of the buttons, which re-initiated the recorded loop with each 
press.  This created a "stutter" effect when used.  I am sure that my 
EDP can do this, but haven't come across the answer yet.  Any ideas?
Just FYI,I am using an All Access controller.
