RC-50 Some wav files don't work

I'm using an RC-50 with a Mac (OS X v10.4.9). I notice that sometimes  
when I import wav files to the RC-50, some of them don't work. They  
show up when I'm connected via USB, but when I disconnect and bring  
up the patch on the RC-50... nothing! Does anyone know what this is  
about? Other wav files work fine. I know I'm naming them all  
correctly when I transfer them. Has anyone else experienced this...  
have a solution? Thanks!!
