Yes, that's what MAX comes from. Almost two decades of MIDI  
controlling. So I guess it would be extremely powerful if used that way.

Or you could use two laptops! I'm researching a two laptop rig now,  
using two laptops and a optical digital audio pipe between them. In  
my case the goal is to be able to use Logic on a Mac as the sound  
source and loop its audio in Mobius on an XP laptop. Logic on the Mac  
is the first unit I play through but it follows the tempo set by my  
looping on the XP box.
