Amen brother!!
Keep an ear out for Canadian bassist Steve Wallace... perfect 
pitch, and oh yeah, he can play really well too. :)

Interesting comment about violinists tuning to perfect fifths and 
then flavoring intervals slightly depending on context. I noticed 
that listening to Jaco Pastorius the other day - a particular note 
would be slightly adjusted depending on what's around it or the 
supporting harmony.
