gear question

here is a true looper's question:
i use the line6 and the 2880 (and i have a repeater somewhere, stopped 
using
it because of the clicking display).
i would like to record a loop, improvise on it, record a different loop
(like a b part) and be able to switch between them ad lib via footswitch..

which loopers can do that for me?
