Under Windows 2000 you select ACPI in the device manager- update drivers- choose from list- pick Standard PC- then the computer stops using ACPI, re-detects ALL of your hardware and spreads the IRQs out quite nicely. WinXP may also work this way- Steinberg and RME both have pages on the topic. Cliff
