Wow, that guitar looks great! I too have experienced that phenomenon
of "two fretboards singing together" and I like it a lot! Three of my
instruments have twelve strings on two necks (or a harp in one case)
and the sympathetic vibrations definitely travel through the body to
influence the other six strings group. A very cool phenomenon.
