Attention people who still use old fashioned tape-loops
Hello! We at Prosomawi Media are setting up a discussion mailing list
dedicated to the
modern-day use of tapes, both audio and video; reel and cassette (they
might be phasing out, but
we know tapers are out there; they still sell recordable cassettes, last I
checked). Well, we
advertise here because I heard people on this list talking about loops
using tapes. So, for people that use
tapes, join Tapeville. It's going to be its own website soon, but we need
some list
subscribers before we make the website. Kind of like LD; there's a website
and a mailing list,
sometimes, really informative list posts will be selected for the website.
The list serve for Tapeville,
the official mailing list for users of tapes (which includes people that
convert tapes to digital) which is not very
active yet (we need subscribers) is less confusing; it's a typical
listserve. You can put
subscribe in the subject and/or the body; you don't need to undo that
safety lock that
involves typing it in both.
To join Tapeville:
Send an email to tape-request@freelists.org with subscribe in the subject
and/or
body. Posting address is, of course, tape@freelists.org
To unsubscribe, just send unsubscribe to the Request.
Have an analogue day!
