Does "multiply" mean to take a loop and make it some number of times
longer (x2, x3, etc.)? What is the difference between doing that and just
letting subsequent loops be created (and quantized) to some multiple of
the first loop (even x1 if desired)? If a "multiplied" loop just repeats
itself some number of times it seems unnecessary and wasteful of memory.
I'm trying to contrast "multiply" with the Boomerang III "Sync" mode where
a loop can be created and then up to three more can be created which are
quantized to any multiple of the first loop's length (x1, x2, ..., xn). Is
there some important difference I'm not seeing or do I not even understand
what "multiply" is in the first place?
Any explanation appreciated!
