Re: videos and music and music sales

"...people can handle more challenging music if it's accompanied by a cool video."
I agree to this statement. To be honest: It can be real boring to see one guy (when itīs looping-music itīs usual that itīs only one person) sitting on a chair making sounds for one hour or more. Unless you are a good performer. Then it can work without videos.
With adding visuals itīs more a multi media event that can be thrilling.
Especially in case of instrumental loop music it can be a big chance to work together with  visuals.
By the way, check out my new short 1.30 minute-video with a soundtrack of my new album "Klangwellen 1"

Subject: videos and music and music sales

I have a theory I'd like to run by the readers of this list.  In a nutshell it goes like this,

"...people can handle more challenging music if it's accompanied by a cool video."

Do you agree?  Have any of you added video to your looping music and discovered it helped increase sales?

Kind regards,
