This is true. At the pre-web aera the real earnings came from the 
royalties payed by the radio and TV. And radio based airplay featured 
again the sales of the hardware media.

I only can encourage you. I wanted to do so too, unfortunately my 
co-author had died some years ago and the legal heirs did not agree with 
this publishing.

Don't underestimate this part. It is a lot of work. And what looks funny 
and easy on youtube is typically done by very clever and specialized 
marketing companies.
