Sonuus always puts out pitch bend info, over a range 2 semitones up
2 semitones down.
Your midi synth responds to midi pitch bend.
It has a pitch bend range you can set for each patch.
Make sense?
So you have to set the pitch bend range on your synth to
2 semitones up 2 semitones down. Then it matches up with
the Sonuus.
If on the other hand
..and hey, your synth's in tune with your guitar as you bend
the string.
Additionally:-
Most midi converters for guitar get the right pitch in this way:-
1) Guess the nearest note and send a Note-On
2) If the note's wrong, send Midi pitch bend to make it sound right.
So..switching off the pitch bend on your synth isn't usually a
good idea, you get more wrong notes.
...but don't not try it just because of what i say :-)
