Re: OT Creativity and Education: a thought provoking talk by SirKen Robinson at the TED CONFERENCE
Near the end of the talk, his story about Gillian Lynne was
thought-provoking and moving.
"Some people have to move to think." He suggests that some kids who
are naturally kinesthetic are dancers -- and they may be diagnosed now
as ADHD.
For those of us who are musicians some of his thoughts resonate. How
many of us have been told by well-meaning parents or others to do
something "practical" rather than to pursue music?
A bittersweet experience to listen to this.
