TSR is way more programmable than the AM8000R. I had both, preceded by the venerable Digitech IPS-33B which was also very programmable, but the TSR really blew doors and was way ahead of it's time. Digitech was also responsible for the PMC-10 Midi Floor Controller, which despite it's bugginess, was an incredible piece of kit. The Behringer is a pale shadow by comparison.

The Digitech unit sounds reminiscent of the Korg AM8000R.
