Yes, that's exactly what I built with Bidule the other day ;-)

Interesting.... I need a foot pedal for two reasons. First, I like to
use some functions that are not quantized; as "overdub dots" or
mocking with pitch and rate of a loop while playing and overdubbing
into it. Second, guitar is fine playing one handed by hammer-ons and
pull-offs, but wind and reed instruments lose half the note span if
played one handed.
