Re: TimeFactor

Hi Toby,

I have very recently got the TimeFactor and only given a looper a quick
try
out. Since your email, I've been trying it properly. And yes, I get the
glitch at the end(or start) of a loop only when a note/phrase is
played/held
over the start point. And Yes, I agree this is anoying. I also have an
RC20XL which is far worse though for this, but, as Stephen Scott suggested
some while ago, it is improved by creating an empty loop first before
playing into it. I am also anoyed by this, but have found the only way of
getting an actual glitch-free start with a drone for example is to use a
long delay running at 100% feedback. I wonder what the EDP is like for
this?
On my Fostex D824 multitrack, when editing, I get no glitch, sure, there
might be a jump in timbra or in note, but no click.

I have enough looping functions to make the TF worth having and for the
delays, I'm completely pleased with it. I'm going to try the V2.1 software
(Beta) update, see if that does anything to fix the looper issue.

Ian.
