At least I trust mine Audiofire2. But I don't use it as you intend. I
use it to send audio digitally from one laptop to another one. I know
another guy around here that is also happy with his Audiofire2, but he
does remix style performances with Ablenon Live and hasn't much audio
input though the card at the same time. So the bottom line is you
can't really rely on my experiences with this card.

That's the recording I remember! It was acoustic guitar and DL4.
Somehow the impression have become "visualized" in my memory ;-))

Usually when thinking about music I find it more fun to focus on the
visual aspect instead what is actually sounding in a strictly
technical meaning, as sound and music also create some sort of
"in-brain" experience very close to what you experience form simply
watching stuff. That habit sort of spilled over and pulled a trick on
me.
