Re: looping in the dark
Wow. Well, I can play in the dark, but wouldn't be able to operate my
laptop
and VST host in the dark. I could learn to work my MIDI footpedel in the
dark, I suppose. All this aside, I do think it is a very good exercise in
ear training, improvision skills, and becoming intimate with one's
instrument to be able to play in the dark or with your eyes closed. I
think
my best music comes from closing my eyes and letting things go.
