Could you describe exactly how and when the noise occurs and what it
sounds like? I had an EDP noise problem recently that (despite my
adamant assertions to the contrary) turned out to be partially gain stage
setting related. I was not able to make my problem go away, but found it
could be attenuated by setting the input and output gain differently.
