Bidule is just made to do these things. If you use an audioswitcher to
control where you signal goes, you can link the output parameter to
the "mode"-parameter of all plugins in a chain and they switch off
automatically when you don't need them. So I am able to host about 60
plugins and mobius at the same time and they only start to process
when I need them.
My footpedal send only program changes but within Bidule I can make
them have a toogle behaviour. I also have two buttons set up to have
different functions when I double click them within an adjustable
time. So I can have Reset on one press, and Global reset on two
presses.
Since Bidule 8.0 the MIDI capabilities are endless.
