Hi Kris,
Last time I downloaded Bidule there was a html manual bundled. On my OS
X version it's inside the application folder, in a folder named "help".

Another method that many laptop musician use, opposed to calling up
plug-in settings by midi program change, is to open many instances of
the plugin on the same audi channel of the host application. Then map
computer keyboard buttons or foot pedal buttons to mute or un-mute the
plug-ins. Each instance of the plug-in should of course be pre-loaded
with a unique patch setting.
Over here I like using Live 4 as the host application. Live has a good
system of mapping any incoming midi (AND computer keyboard button
stroke) to both its own parameters as well as any parameter of a
plug-in. Check the Bidule manual to see if it has something similar!
BTW, I have noticed that every time I answer one of your LD posts, the
mail is sent to your private address. If you don't like it that way you
may change this in your e-mail client settings for "auto reply to".
