RE: LooperMusic.com

Hello Andy - great to hear from you again. Thanks for taking the time to look through the site. I completely agree on the question/answer format. I'm going to start doing more like this one: http://loopermusic.com/equipment/compact-looper-pedals

I've generally left out sound quality due to a few things: 1) it can be highly subjective and 2) it can heavily depend on other units in your setup and I don't want to misinform. That being said, if you have ideas on how to do it while getting around those two concerns I will start looking into it.

I won't claim to have used every looper that I've reviewed, but I have demo'd most of them. Some of the variants were not demo'd.

Regarding livelooping.org, is there an active forum that goes with that site? I am thinking about starting one that maybe you could utilize as well? I know my site is commercial, but that enables me to actually spend time on this vs other potential ventures.

Thanks,
Jasper

Hello - just wanted to spread the word to this group of looping musicians: I have reviewed about 26 loop pedals that are currently in production. I would love to get your feedback on those reviews and also I'm interested in publishing content from expert guests (like many of you).
hi Jasper.
nice resource, particularly that it features a lot of the newer loop devices.

As you asked for feedback...................

I thought the Question/Answer format wasn't always ideal,
often a lot of the features/capabilities are related, so a well conceived
paragraph would perhaps cover a group of "questions" better.

I didn't see any mention of sound quality, often an issue.

Did you actually *try* all those pedals before reviewing?

Anyway, overall an impressive piece of work :-)

thanx for offer to host reviews,
Sadly the loopers delight site is inactive now.

However a number of the loopers delight people have contributed to
livelooping.org which is 100% non-commercial.

all the best
andy
ps
there's an issue that hitting a link to a looper always opens in Amazon

Cheers,
Jasper
