Min. loop length of modern loopers / Ditto?

What are you experiences about minimum loop length of modern loopers?

Does the new Ditto Looper work as smart as a nicely old Lexicon Jamman and 
allow for any minim loop negth i can physically attempt to stomp into it? 
The Boss things don't, they ruin my surprises by only allowing for a 
minimum of 1.5 seconds.

What are your experiences there?
