Re: How often do you listen to your own music?

For most of my musical life I have been making and playing music that I like to listen to, therfore I almost ONLY play my own music.
I dip into "whats going on now" once in a while, mostly because I love to see bands new live, but rarely have the time to track down or listen too new recordings... theres almost too much available for free now, so I really dont end up REALLY listening to music at all now, almost everything I do listen to is the first time I have heard it, and probably the last.
If I have any free time at all, I make music, not listen to it...
Unfortunately, I can´t work to music, so when I´m editing films, or making games, I have to have silence. Also i have never been able to use headphones...
To be honest I haveing had any REALLY ground breaking discoveries for many many years, OK maybe Merzbow about 6 years ago... (not cos I like it, just cos.. well I was rather surprised)
However, I try to keep up, dubstep lasted about 2 days, is there anything since that really?

So.. Yes.. I keep coming back to MY music, its WHY I write it... for myself... its exactly what I like listening too, I just dont understand whey no one else does!!
