Re: Describing Your Music

I have a new moniker I came up with last night while trying to answer the very question.  "Acoustic guitar renaissance, color blue, repetitive minimalism" - first time I've felt I had a solid answer for the question beyond 'World'.  This all said I loved your response Ted!

I ask them if they are familiar with the term "Easy Listening."

And then I tell them that what I play is as far away from that as they can probably imagine.

I decided to use the description "uneasy listening" for my music. Which should mean our music is somehwat similar - which to a certain extent it seems to be, considering that you were a performer on every festival I played in the U.S. ever ;)
