RE: human loop machine..

Hi Todd: I was there and was able to audience wise myself close to the front. Your performance was quite something else in it's entirety. Adam (OMG), Sxip (OMG 2x), the violin ensemble (did I see an alternating viola?) and helicon tubist (who I didn't know) were excellent additions to the mix, color & collage. The overall choice of rep was aurally expansive; all of which you should be very proud. I hung around after the concert to introduce myself and say hello but you were engaged. I did drop off my cd & card with your cd sales partner-teers. Hope you got it. You may recall I had communicated with you a few months back on loopers-delight regarding our connections to the music biz (My connections being: Chicago, Hazmat Modine, Blues Clues, Spike Jones and your former violin student Tim). Carry on and knock yourself out!!  ~David

Hey y'all,

Tried something two nights ago which I'm sure some of you have tried before, but it was super rewarding.  I had six violins with me in front of which I looped and had each one capture a track of looping on live violin, then I faded out the loop.  Worked like a charm and it was beautiful.

However... with the size of the venue I'm afraid the crossfade got lost, let that be a lesson to me. Next show with this band, I'll not use the looper to create, but rather just the musicians!

In any case, we had a great time and someday I hope to share some looping work from this show with you all.

I'll post a few links here to pics and a review...

Cheers, all!
