Re: Soft Step - any software issues?

it such ashame really, what finally made me send it back was the static
noise when using it with the USB cable,it was so loud it was getting
recorded in the loops!
apparently it was from the led lighting ,mine was crashing all the
time as well,i had to reboot often,my Imac would recognize it but then
my laptop wouldnt, preset naming would get wiped out, etc.
i spent so much time trying patiently to work with it but there were
just too many issues.
But i can imagine as a stand alone you probably wont have those
problems but for me it defeats the purpose ,thats also one of the
reasons i had bought it.
Having to press carefully the corners of the pedals was not a solution
for me either,i was stepping on the pedal next to it too often.
The other thing that bother me is that when you program the pedal
functions is hard to know in what bank you are in.But i suppose there
could be a work around to that.
An almost 400.00dlls pedal (with expander) with such problems was not
much of a bargain.,specially If reliability gets in the way of making
music.
But ill be watching it anyway,i did like the concept and its small
size and Sarah was always very helpful.
