Thanks for your reply Mike, much appreciated! It's not the answer I
would like to hear but at it's clear now :)

Using fade out as a workaround for feedback could work when you're
ending a song go from 100% volume to 0%. If I understand it right, you
can't stop a fade out somewhere in between. In comparison with
feedback on a delay pedal, you can turn it up to 100% any time you
want, it's much more flexible. Anyway, imo a slow fade out is a bit
longer than the current 43 seconds of the Rang. I often use fade outs
of 2-3 minutes long, it can create real magic when doing ambient
soundscapes live on stage. So I could live with a global fade out
function but the 43 seconds is too short.

It's also a matter of getting used to the Rang III, like with any looper.

I personally never use fade ins, only fade outs. Thanks for your answer.
