Re: M9 and RC50

It still amazes me that Line 6 wont release an upgrade to their new M9 with MIDI  to do looping syncronization,as a master or slave...
it also amazes me that the new looper is still mono ;-((
and that after seeing the success of the DL4 being used by so many creative vocalists they wont include a Mic input!
most people ive seen in youtube using the DL4 are using its looper rather than their delays, which tells me Line6 arent
yet aware of their device, now  try putting it in a mixers aux send to loop your voice and you still get that frustrating oscillation boxy sound,so the only option is to stick a mic with a 1/4 adaptor in the second input
i was hoping that would be better than the DL4 but no such luck grr...
dont get me wrong i still a great box,i just hope they would really listen to somebody with more looping experience!

Good advice, Rick!

What used to do on my RC-50 also when playing with others:
- Set RC-50 to "single mode" (three consecutive loops)
- Record a loop but keep it recording a bit longer (i.e. 3-4 bars instead of two)
- Constantly retrigger the loop using the phrase pedal (phrase1-3)

This way, I managed also to stay in time when the music organically changed tempo. I guess you could achieve something similar with a single shot setting.

best regards
Buzap
