So the idea was something "cheap" and "small", like an IdeaPad S10e or 
Apsire One D150 (to put this in perspective: these are computers with a 
10'' display and a price between €200 and €250 new).

Are there any experiences with those? Because I'm curious as well...

Nadja, for what it's worth, both from reading reviews and comments of 
users I found the Samsung computers in that area very interesting...if 
you can live with the fact that (at least most of them) don't offer an 
ExpressCard slot (which basically forces you to use an USB audio 
interface).
