The Soundscapes Concert Series

Saturday, April 24, the Soundscapes Concert Series begins anew at the
Nazareth Center for the Arts featuring local electronic musicians having
international reputations. Twyndyllyngs and Technicolor Travel Agency
will each perform a set and then perform together for a short,
improvised encore. Doors open at 7:30 pm and the concert is at 8:00 pm.
There is a suggested donation of $10 to support the musicians and to
enable the Nazareth Center for the Arts to pay operating expenses. The
NCA is located at 30 Belvidere Street, Nazareth, PA 18064 just off of
Route 191 on the southwest corner of Belvidere Street and South Spruce
Street. Check the NCA site for parking information. The Soundscapes
Concert Series website has driving directions and a link to a map.

Twyndyllyngs is comprised of Howard Moscovitz (synthesizer and iPhone
apps) and Bill Fox (synthesizers, guitar, bass, lap slide guitar).
Howard has been playing electronic music since he bought a Moog modular
synthesizer in the early 1970s. Since then, he has started
electro-music, an award winning community of international artists, an
on-line radio station, and yearly festivals. Bill has hosted radio shows
since 1997 that have garnered international audiences and recognition.
He created the Soundscapes Concert Series and has performed at festivals
in the US as well as in Poland, the Canary Islands, Italy, Romania, and
Croatia.

Technicolor Travel Agency is comprised of Greg Waltzer (synthesizers)
and Johnny Doyle (guitar). Greg has performed at many concerts and
festivals around the US with diverse bands including Mutation Vector,
Fringe Element, xeroid entity, Holosphere, and Technicolor Travel
Agency. With Howard, he is organizer of the electro-music festivals. He
also organizes the Pocono Skies and Hyperspace festivals. Johnny met
Greg while both were members of the experimental indie band The Sea and
the Stars. They discovered they had a mutual interest in exploring music
by "painting with sound," with no boundaries, egos, or rules, just
channeling something bigger than themselves.

The Soundscapes Concert Series is intended to bring electronic music to
the Lehigh Valley by being the concert companion to Galactic Travels, a
radio show in the Allentown - Lehigh Valley area of eastern
Pennsylvania. Like the radio show, SOUNDSCAPES features Electronic,
Ambient and Spacemusic. There are many reasons for starting this concert
series, not the least of which is to bring the music heard on Galactic
Travels to the area in a comfortable, friendly and relaxed concert
setting. This also has the byproduct of providing valuable performance
opportunities to the musicians who put so much energy into their craft.
This is their chance to step out of the relative safety of their studios
and connect with the fans of electronic music.

There is no better way to build a community than through music. The goal
of SOUNDSCAPES is to build a local Electronic Music community by
providing an environment of music and the opportunity to meet
like-minded people.
