Cool! I too am doing that with exprs pedals a lot these days. Thanks
to software like Bidule and Mainstage I'm able to excel  in scaling my
expr pedals value curves to put different "actions" for different
targets at certain ranges of the total expr pedal range. A fav trick
is to combine three functions on the pedal: volume swell pedal,
feedback control for a pre looper delay and FREEZE feeback loop at the
ultimate toe down position.
