It's a whole different process to hard sync a loop, rather than
to get the delays in time.
To really sync you need to retrigger the loop every once in a while.
Just getting the right loop length isn't good enough, because midi
isn't accurate enough.

You'll probably find that with feedback up at 100% any "midi-synced"
delay will drift after a while.

So that kind of half explains why, the other part of the explanation
being the reason the manufacturers don't bother to implement hard sync,
...which I don't know ;-)
