It sends midi note ons for beat(33), cycle(34) and loop(32).
You'd have to program the drum machine to respond appropriately.

The note nums given are for when Source# = 36,
(and may be in the wrong order).
Can't remember if you need to do Sync=Out to make it work,
but just hook the 2 devices together and make a loop
to hear it happening.

Usual method for keeping a drummer in sync with a loop
is just to make sure they can hear the loop well, perhaps
using an extra monitor.
